The Pretty Reckless Make History

New York rock band The Pretty Reckless have just made history as the second female-fronted group ever to have two consecutive number-one rock radio hits: “Messed Up World” and “Heaven Knows.” The only other group who has achieved this specific feat was the The Pretenders. The group’s entire album Going To Hell was a commercial success, in fact, debuting at #5 on the Billboard Top 200 upon its March 18 release.
The lady breaking the records for the group is Taylor Momsen, who has a beefy résumé of touring with Guns N’ Roses, Marilyn Manson, Evanescence and Joan Jett. Razor & Tie co-owner Cliff Chenfield says, “Rock is coming back big and Taylor and The Pretty Reckless are leading the charge.”
