Bet you didn’t know that Traci Lords also had a music career. In addition to being a controversial adult entertainer and later television and B-movie actress, Lords released the techno pop album 1000 Fires in 1995, her only official album to date (although she has recorded some remixes for various artists). We always loved the Sister Soleil/Sneaker Pimps industrial-tinged track “Fallen Angel,” which was remixed for soundtracks to “Mortal Kombat” and “Virtuosity.” Lords has since moved on to become an author, producer, director and advocate for sexual abuse victims. But part of us also hopes she finds time to record again.
