Video of the Day: Agnes Obel “Dorian”

Agnes Obel is dancing in the dark in her video for “Dorian,” a single from her 2013 album Aventine. Using footage from New York’s Metropolitan Ballet Company in 1958, the Danish singer-songwriter sets transposed black-and-white dancers against a still celestial background. The noir display gives an otherworldly and emotive vibe to her breathy, piano track that sounds a lot like one of our other favorites, Bat for Lashes.
