Tales of suburbia during summer: Skateboarding, drawing tattoos with permanent marker, browsing CD bins at the local record store. Wait is this 2014 or 1994? Beverly’s black-and-white video is more than retro looking; the sound behind “Honey Do” is straight-up ’90s-era shoegaze with hazy reverb, echoing guitar licks and soft vocals. But then what else would you expect from Beverly, a band featuring Drew Citron and (formerly) Frankie Rose?
