In the midst of all this snow bs, we are thinking July. And “Firecrackers.” Folk songstress Marissa Nadler scorches with both her latest album and single. Shot in black-and-white, the retro cam, slow motion video reel to accompany the track is both charming and a bit disturbing, as if we happened upon lost footage of a girl stuck in summerland. But maybe that’s not such a bad place to be.
